Fall is finally upon us.  For me that means cowl necks and cardigans!

5oo4 just released a new cowl neck top.  I knew I was going to love it because the 5oo4 Nancy Raglan cowl is one of my favorites too (blog post).

This is the new Mabel pattern. I has an optional ruffle finish, neckband or cowl.  


The pattern is from 5oo4 and I’ve become a big fan.  The full bust adjustment is a separate pattern piece built right in. This saves me so much time!

Here’s the optional ruffle finish.

The ruffled skirt is gathered.  I’ve found my favorite way to gather is using my sewing machine on high tension.

Both versions were made with double brushed poly from Elevated Fashion Fabrics and cowls using sweater knit from Sincerely Rylee scrap packs!
