Emerson

Don’t you love all the flounces?   I do!!

This pattern is so on trend right now!

It’s the Emerson top from Petite Stitchery.

I really surprised myself  with doing such detail work but actually the pattern was really easy to follow.

Something that really helped was wash-away wonder tape to hold the flounces in place while I basted.

I also really like the look of top stitching the flounces with my cover stitch.

I used a sweater knit from Knitpop.

I paired it with a coordinating Liverpool skirt also from Knitpop

I also think it looks great with the MCDI Skinny Fit Pants!

Pattern Stats –
Maternity possible:  You could totally wear this top in stretchy fabric with no mod needed. The bottom of the shirt is not fitted.  It would also be really easy to lengthen and ruche the front.

Nursing possible: Not really.  Pull down access only and because of the interfacing in the V-neck, there isn’t much stretch.
